Many people establish their APS Foundation giving fund in perpetuity, so they can serve the community for generations to come. Whether or not your giving fund has a nominated successor,APS can help you to set up a plan for your giving future.
Our Giving Futures service can help you:
Articulate your giving wisheswith confidence, so future decision-makers understand your values and intentions
Continue your impact, with the right wording in your Will to add to your giving fund from your estate
Visualise your giving legacy, knowing how your gifts will continue to contribute to the causes that matter most to you
APS offers three core services to help make planning your giving future simple.
We provide tailored services for:
Estate planning
We can work with your lawyer and provide a clause for your Will that directs a share of your estate, or the residuary, into your APS Foundation giving fund.
Statement of wishes development
We can help you develop a statement of wishes which articulates your personal values, giving aspirations and the type of impact you’d like to achieve through your giving fund. This will provide invaluable guidance to the fund’s trustees regarding the types of causes, initiatives and organisations that align best with your intentions.
Giving while living co-design
An optional inclusion for giving fund holders who wish to work with APS to co-design a ‘giving while living’ strategy to guide the activities of their giving fund over the course of their lifetime and into the future. This could include the establishment of a scholarship or fellowship, or the development of partnerships with one or more charities providing a new solution to a particular cause area.
The APS Giving Futures service is offered to our clients for a nominal fee. Contact us today for a discussion on planning your giving future.
