This list provides a range of not-for-profit organisations working internationally to provide emergency aid and support to people affected by conflict in the Middle East.
An escalation of conflict across the Middle East is driving new displacement of people, including families who had previously fled other crises. Emergency aid can provide those forced to flee, access to shelter, food, clean water, healthcare and counselling; along with longer-term humanitarian support to people and communities affected by the crisis.
While the entities listed below are all known to APS, we do not conduct a detailed analysis of their financial position and governance ahead of their inclusion in this list. All charities’ audited financials are available to view on the ACNC website.
Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of the not-for-profit organisations working in this space. As with all emergency appeals, should a donation be received and not be needed in the affected areas, the charity will apply it to similar situations and areas of need.
