This November, Australian Philanthropic Services (APS) hosted a client connect event for our clients to share philanthropy stories, learn from giving experiences, and hear about the charities and causes they are supporting. The evening was filled with positive energy and enthusiasm to grow giving for good, and we were fortunate to have our APS Technical Director David Ward in Perth to meet with clients on the night.

David also held some philanthropy masterclasses for professional advisers and accountants based in Western Australia (WA). Hosted by Kate Bowditch, our WA based Partnerships & Development Manager, the sessions focused on the evolving landscape of values-based wealth management. We looked at the practical tools to help clients establish meaningful, tax-effective philanthropy strategies – covering legislative updates, next-gen giving trends, and governance best practices.
