Investment performance 1st January to 30th June 2026
We are pleased to release the latest investment Reports for our public giving fund, the Australian Philanthropic Services (APS) Foundation. It is not only the fastest-growing Public Giving Fund in Australia, but also the most generous among its peers.
At 30th June the APS Foundation provided services to 845 Giving Funds, totalling over $500 million. Last financial year, our clients gifted over $36 million – a 30% increase on last financial year – to over 1,350 charities.
The investment objective for the APS Foundation is to achieve a return after fees at least equal to CPI inflation +4% per annum, measured over rolling seven-year periods. APS Foundation portfolio managers prepare a detailed investment performance report for Giving Fund holders every six months, and the period covering 1st January – 30th June 2026 can be viewed below for each portfolio.
General Portfolio
The General Portfolio, managed by Chris Cuffe, was established in 2012 and is well-diversified across the full investment spectrum. The General Portfolio produced a return of 2.2%* for the six months to June 30th 2026, and 9.9% p.a.* since inception.

Focused Portfolio
The Focused Portfolio, managed by David Wright, was established in July 2022. It is diversified across investment funds and individually managed accounts with a Responsible Investing (RI) and/or Environmental Social Governance (ESG) objective. It produced a return of 2.6%* for the six months to June 30th 2026, and 6.6% p.a* since inception.

We are extremely grateful for the support we receive from a number of generous fund managers, who provide us with their investment services pro bono or low bono, to assist with the management of the APS Foundation.
