Non-executive director

Lisa George has been with Macquarie Group since 2010 and is the Global Head of the Macquarie Group Foundation. The Foundation drives social impact for Macquarie Group and employee engagement sits at its heart. Through two signature programs, Macquarie Gives and Future Ready, it supports people to build a better future.

Lisa is the former Co-Chair and current member of the Philanthropy Australia Board, is a Director at For Purpose Investment Partners, and chairs the Harvard Club of Australia Ferris Family Non-profit Fellowship, which awards two scholarships annually for Australian non-profit CEOs to attend Harvard Business School. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University.

Lisa was appointed a Non-executive director of APS and joins our Board in July 2026.
