This November, we welcomed our clients to our new home in Adelaide. The APS team enjoyed connecting with our community in South Australia as clients shared their personal stories about giving and the causes that matter to them.
It was a good opportunity to look back on how APS began and reflect on our growth over the years. Starting with less than ten staff members when we opened our doors in 2013, APS has now grown into a national organisation with a presence in five states – Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane. We are committed to building a wider community of givers for the years to come.
Adelaide is also home to one of our very first clients. Geoff Day, his wife Anne and daughter Kate, of the Day Family Foundation, joined us to celebrate the milestone and shared what they value about working with APS.
“I enjoy the strategic power of giving,” Geoff says. “…trying to use my business experience and network to help small to medium sized charities be more sustainable. Because [APS] does all of that administration work – which frankly I have no interest in – it’s allowed me to focus on giving our money effectively rather than spending time on administrative and compliance matters, which APS do so well.”
APS is deeply grateful to the people who keep our purpose alive – our clients, our team, and everyone who has supported our mission to grow giving for good.
