Jan Swinhoe

Chair

Chair of Australian Philanthropic Services, Jan’s executive career spanned over 30 years in the banking and superannuation sectors. Jan commenced her non-executive career in 2011 and is currently a Director of Vanguard Super Limited and ING Australia Limited. Jan is also a Director of the Doherty Swinhoe Family Foundation, a private ancillary fund administered by APS.

Previous Boards she has served on include Athletics Australia (President), Mercer Superannuation (Chair), Swiss Re Life and Health Australia and New Zealand and IMB Bank.

Jan holds a B.Sc (Hons) majoring in pure mathematics, and is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.

Jan was appointed a Non-executive director of APS in February 2012 and Chair in November 2025.
