This give list provides a range of not-for-profit organisations working to support people affected by the Ebola outbreak in May 2026, unfolding in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DCR) and Uganda. Healthcare teams are working to trace cases and slow the spread as people are dying and the number of cases is continuing to rise. Work is being done to improve access to clean water, sanitation, hygiene and to provide essential supplies like disinfectants and soap, personal protective equipment for health workers, and water purification tablets and water tanks.
The charities below are providing a wide range of emergency support including food, water, shelter, and support for people in urgent need.
While the entities listed below are all known to APS, we do not conduct a detailed analysis of their financial position and governance ahead of their inclusion in this list. All charities’ audited financials are available to view on the ACNC website.
Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of the not-for-profit organisations working in this space.
As with all emergency appeals, should a donation be received and not be needed in Myanmar, the charity will apply it to similar situations around the world.
