Jeanmaree Furtado

Accounting and Tax Manager, APS Foundation

Jeanmaree is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience across a range of financial and accounting disciplines, with 10 years focused on the not-for-profit sector.

Jeanmaree commenced her career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen & Co (now part of EY), before serving in various financially-based roles, including wholesale debt funding at Colonial State Bank and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She then pivoted to the not-for-profit sector as finance manager for Bell Shakespeare and The Balnaves Foundation.

As well as being a registered CA, Jeanmaree holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration (Commerce) in Accounting and Economics from the University of New England and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
